This place lives up to the hype--especially if you're here for the macadamia nut pancakes. We also had the loco moco and omelet, both hearty and flavorful. The portions are generous, and everything came out hot and well-cooked. Went for breakfast and came out full and well satisfied. Food is super tasty. I would recommend getting a short stack of pancakes (plain , banana or with nuts, I went with banana ) and order the special Mac nut sauce to go on it. Also try the beef kalbi. Be prepared with your order before you enter the restaurant . You place your order at the door and then go to you table.
The atmosphere is amazing! The food is immaculate! We got a short stack of macadamia pancakes and the Portuguese sausage breakfast plate. First time trying Portuguese sausage and I immediately looked where I can get some back at home. I thought the macadamia pancakes would be too much but I was proven so wrong I wanted to lick the plate, the sauce is that good; it’s not too sweet and the pancakes are cooked to fluffy perfection. Boots & Kimo’s is a MUST if you’re on this side of the island.

Pancakes so good we've been dreaming about them for 19 years when we finally were able to return! Seriously, the macadamia nut sauce is amazing. All pancakes and waffles are great but blueberry ones are the best by far. Very moist and flavorful. There was a long line when we got there (normal) but we got in surprisingly fast because they were taking our orders in the line. I bet we waited 5-10 min tops from when we sat to when we got our food. And it was super tasty. We loved it 19 years ago, and it was worth returning now!
My parents highly recommend this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. This place has some great pancakes with macadamia nut sauce and omelettes. The staff was great and very attentive. Highly recommend!

Second breakfast on Sunday morning, we made room in our tummies to share a short stack of their famous Macadamia nut topped pancakes. So worth the extra calories on our circle island drive. So efficient with taking orders as we’re waiting in line. Minimal wait to be seated, then the food came out quickly and fresh made. Super friendly staff and excellent service. Those pancakes are things one dreams of
